A study of a chrome-plated serving spoon placed on a maroon drape. The intent was to describe the surface of a highly reflective concave object. I also wanted to show the relativity of a personal point of view. There is a play of perception that exists between focus on the object and focus on the reflection on the object's surface. The composition pushes the viewer's eye to the apex of the reflection at the point that is physically furthest away within the object.
