The Refraction of Light Through Water and Time

A study of a clock on a piece of blank drawing paper next to a pencil in a glass of water. The intent was to show the refraction of light by breaking up the exterior of the pencil. The relation of the objects and elements to one another is a representation of the force of time and the nature of light. In this way, the humble objects are elevated in status through implication. The composition of the objects also evoke an algebraic equation.
